This Boiko Stoyanov Sofia Grande violin made in 1998 is a very good handmade violin from Bulgaria. It features Bulgarian tonewoods with a nice even grained spruce top and a moderately flamed maple two piece back. This violin would be an excellent choice for an advancing player looking for a European made violin to reach a more professional level of playing.
