Unlabeled James Morris Robert violin. This violin features a moderately flamed 2 piece maple back, with matching neck and sides. It has a wide but even grained spruce top. Amber/honey varnish that's still in really good condition. This violin is fitted with ebony fittings with brass trim. 

This violin speaks quickly and easily and is rather refined in its upper register. This violin comes to us on consignment as one of the favorites of a collector.
