Fantastic older German made instrument imported for William Lewis and Son from 1909. It is a Stradavari model numbered on the label as No. 1. This violin was played for years by an advanced student before being stored for a long period of time. It is in fantastic condition and features, ebony fittings, a two piece moderately flamed maple back, and medium with even grained spruce top.

This violin is priced to sell and has a fantastic rich sound that is still waking back up. It is setup to be very easy to play with a nice low string height and has Rondo Gold strings on it. The sound is very projective yet has a really good depth to it. This violin would be a steal for an advancing student wanting an older instrument.

Features:

  • Rich and full tone with good projection
  • Brownish red varnish
  • Well set up and very easy to play

Measurements:

  • L.O.B: 357mm
  • String Length: 327mm
  • C Bout: 114mm
  • Upper Bout: 169mm
  • Lower Bout: 211mm

When purchasing a fine violin we recommend that you contact the showroom and speak to a customer service staff member, who can provide you with details about the instrument. We strongly suggest that you take advantage of our In Home Trial program when considering the purchase of a fine violin. We want you to be sure that the violin you purchase has the sound quality you are looking for.
